In the summer of 2012 Ross Goodwin will be retiring as Manager of AINA's Arctic Science and Technology Information System (ASTIS). We invite applications for this exciting position managing Canada's national database of northern publications and research projects. The successful candidate will manage a team of three Information Analysts and a volunteer, and will obtain contract work and donations to fund the system.
Applicants should either have an MLIS or a degree in the natural or social sciences with northern research experience. Management and fundraising experience, and excellent communications skills, are highly desirable. Familiarity with northern Canada and contacts in the northern research, government and business communities are desirable.
